I had purchased CORDED cellular blinds (from Blinds To Go) in the past and loved the energy savings. So when I was in the market to buy new blinds for all my windows (10 blinds in total) I chose CORDLESS cellular blinds (top down, bottom up) for all these window from Levelor. They were great for the first 2 years (I've had them for 7 years in total) and then they started breaking. By breaking I mean, 1) the blind tensions would loosen and would...

Spent close to 2 grand on this disaster. Why haven't they been subject to lawsuits? Saw the video on how to fix them on utube, but I don't have the time or expertise for that...and also Penny's has gone out of business and my research showed the ongoing problem with dealing with Levolor and I don't want to throw more good money and energy on bad and that I don't have the time for! Seems we customers need to start a lawsuit. These were not...

Purchased $4000+ worth of custom Levolor cellular blinds at Home Depot, Las Cruces, NM for my recently built home. The internal draw strings have failed on most. Since they are still under warranty, Home Depot has kindly worked with us to replace each one as they break. However, since it is becoming a weekly event, Home Depot agreed with us that all should be replaced. Levolor rep basically said, sorry we don't do that kind of thing and we...

Levolor Cellular Blinds Review

I spent thousands on a defective product purchased at Home Depot They offered to 'fix' but will not replace with a working product. Blinds will not raise and they sag and let light in at the top. Had better luck on blinds.com

We purchased the Levolor cordless top-down/bottom-up cellular shades for our large living room window. Our first shade broke after 2 years. Our replacement shade broke after 1 year. We move it up and down every day & the cords have given out both times. Great shades if you don't intend on using them, I guess. I wish they were better made because I do like them otherwise. We will be searching for something else. These shades are too expensive to...

I bought the blackout cellular blinds. Got jammed after a few months, got them fixed. Got jammed again, got them 'fixed' again. Only this time, they were non blackout in a different shade!... a cheaper product. I called them on it and they said its because they no longer carry the original. Then I thought... you knew you were sending me the wrong product and tried to dupe me? For shame. Taking them back again. Look great though. I have...

The Levolor cellular cordless blinds are definitely proof of that. I bought two of these. Big mistake!! Although I don't operate them often (they are mostly in the down position), one of them doesn't go up when I raise it. I just reviewed a YouTube video on how to fix this but it is mainly due to a bad design/cheap construction. I spent a chunk-o change for these and they should not break down this easily. And even though I'm quite handy, I...

I too am very disappointed in these blinds. We spent over $2,000 for every window in our house and every one has broken from about six months to now which would be three years. They keep breaking, won't go back up, have to send back and pay big time mailing charges. I would never ever buy these again. I should just go back to curtains, cheaper and they last longer. These are a joke, they don't improve the mechanism either, so they will break over...
