I ordered 7 natural blinds. I didn't want valances. I was instructed that valances were required with this type of blind. I liked the blinds so I ordered the valance. But then, the valances weren't included for the side windows so one set of windows looks silly with a large window having the valance and the sides without a valance. (photo)

Customer service rep did her best but if the makers don't get in touch there is nothing she can do.

Second problem: The blinds for the smaller, narrower side windows (the valance-free windows) have a different kind of pulley cord system to raise and lower them. The cord hangs behind the blinds so it's difficult to get to with windows that are in recessed areas.

Next time I need blinds, I'll go with a different company.

Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.

I didn't like: No valance on narrow windows.
